13 year-old

Skye Oduaran

13-year-old Skye Oduaran is the author of the Susie Cinnamon Sleuth Series and a kid journalist for Scholastic Kids Press.

She is a 2023 winner of the Georgia Young Authors Award and wants to inspire other kids her age to pursue literacy. Her goal as an author is to spread the joy of reading through quality, good-messaged books for kids!

The inspiration behind the Susie Cinnamon Sleuth Series came after Skye ran out of books with good messaging to read. Her desire for girls her age to have abundant access to books that inspire and cultivate a passion for reading led her to develop the Susie Cinnamon Sleuth Series.

Tega Oduaran

Tega Oduaran is a 6-year-old young author who has always enjoyed reading from a very early age! She is a winner of the 2023 Georgia Young Authors Award and wrote two books: "The Baby Bandit Squirrel" & "The Dog That Never Fails". She enjoys reading, writing, dancing, and playing outside. As a featured author of Tega Joy Publishing, Tega wants to inspire kids to enjoy reading and writing!
